This project is affiliated with Curamericas Global, Inc. Curamericas is a nonprofit, international health organization headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, that partners with underserved communities to provide measurable and sustainable improvements in their health and well-being. Curamericas operates through local organizations providing technical assistance and building capacity to ensure programmatic and organizational sustainability. Curamericas’ projects focus primarily on health care services strengthening, community empowerment, monitoring and measuring efficacy, and working toward sustainable results using local resources. Curamericas will facilitate our entry prior to our arrival with the Hospital Administration and Child Survival Project staff currently working in Nimba County, provide cultural mediation, support in the recruitment of program participants, and integrate the project alongside their existing initiatives.
